NCI funding boosts cancer trials collaboration with Canada

The US National Cancer Institute (NCI) has awarded $15 million in funding to the NCIC Clinical Trials Group (CTG) at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. This funding will give Canadian cancer patients access to international clinical trials. It also allows NCIC CTG to open its trials to US groups. The NCIC CTG began collaborating with US-based groups in the 1990s and has received funding from the NCI since 1997.
