Conclusion

After surviving their cancer, breast cancer survivors may continue to feel the effects of their disease and its treatment. For many survivors, loss of bone density can lead to osteopenia, osteoporosis, and higher risk of hip and vertebral fractures. Resistance training can improve long-term outcomes for these patients.
