Question 3 What is the feasibility and acceptability of implementing cancer survivorship strategies that have been adapted for cultural safety with indigenous people, and the perceived influence on healing, cancer screening, and psychosocial support?

Nurse-led cancer survivorship strategies will be field tested. The strategies will be tailored to include traditional healers and elders of the indigenous people. Follow-up will include focus groups of cancer survivors and caregivers, and interviews with participating healthcare providers, who will be asked to track details regarding the type of programs provided, number of participants, and related challenges.

The researchers theorize that data from this study can be used to develop a paper-based manual, videos, discussion points, and questions for clinician use to provide cancer survivorship care to different indigenous communities.
