Constipation and bowel cleansers:
Indications for: KONSYL EASY MIX
Constipation.
Adults and Children:
Mix in 8oz liq, then drink 8oz more liq. <6yrs: not recommended. 6–12 yrs: ½ adult dose. ≥12yrs: 1 level scoopful or heaping teaspoonful 1–3 times daily.
KONSYL EASY MIX Contraindications:
Signs/symptoms of appendicitis. Intestinal obstruction. Fecal impaction.
KONSYL EASY MIX Warnings/Precautions:
Rectal bleeding. Diabetes (sugar-containing forms).
KONSYL EASY MIX Classification:
Bulk forming.
KONSYL EASY MIX Interactions:
Tablets block tetracycline absorption (give at least 1hr before or 2hrs after tetracycline).
Adverse Reactions:
Esophageal, gastric, enteral, rectal obstruction.
