Indications for: DELSYM

Nonproductive cough.

Adult Dosage:

10mL every 12 hours.

Children Dosage:

<4yrs: do not use. 4–5yrs: 2.5mL. 6–11yrs: 5mL. Both every 12 hours.

DELSYM Contraindications:

Children <4yrs old. During or within 14 days of MAOIs.

DELSYM Warnings/Precautions:

Asthma. Lower respiratory disorders. Pregnancy. Nursing mothers.

DELSYM Classification:

Antitussive.

DELSYM Interactions:

Hyperpyretic crisis with MAOIs.
