A new technique developed by researchers for castration-resistant prostate cancer could delay the start of chemotherapy for two years, significantly increased the quality of life for affected patients. The hormone therapy enzalutamide reduces the progression of prostate cancer by up to 80% and also lowers risk of death, offering a temporary alternative to surgery and/or radiation therapy.
