FAST-RESULTS (benzalkonium chloride and allantoin) topical spray by Merix Pharmaceutical
Fast-Results! (benzalkonium chloride and allantoin topical spray, from Merix Pharmaceutical) will be made available soon over-the-counter for the treatment of genital herpes symptoms. Fast-Results! topical spray utilizes Merix's Viracea formula, an Echinacea-derived product approved under the FDA OTC Antiseptic/Antimicrobial Monograph. It is indicated for the treatment of symptoms caused by the herpes virus; for pain, tingling, burning, itching, and other symptoms associated with herpes sores; and may be used as an antiseptic to help cleanse or dry sores. Fast-Results! may be used on labial tissue.

Fast-Results! is expected to be available mid-May 2010.
